Cristina Miliaresis DVM
Principal
Dr. Cristina Miliaresis traces her roots to Italy and Greece. She grew up in Naples, Italy and spent many of her summers on the Ionian island of Kefalonia , Greece.
At the age of 18, Dr. Miliaresis moved to New York where she attended undergraduate university at the Honor’s College SUNY Stony Brook. She earned her BS in biology. While attending undergraduate university, Dr. Miliaresis competed on her school’s equestrian team and worked as a veterinary technician.
After finishing her undergraduate degree, she moved to Brooklyn where she pursued a Master’s degree in molecular biology teaching classes and working full time as a veterinary technician at The North Shore Animal League.
Finally, Dr. Miliaresis gave in to her life-‐long dream to become a veterinarian and left New York for Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on St. Kitts in the Caribbean. Dr. Miliaresis completed her clinical training at the University of Illinois and graduated in 2003. After a short year in California, the island life and ocean drew her to Hawaii where she has been practicing veterinary medicine since.
On her spare time, she can be found surfing and enjoying time at the beach. Dr. M belongs to the following professional organizations: American Veterinary Medical Association, Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association.
